Supporting children is everyone’s responsibility
Identifying parents and supporting their children is central to many national policies and guidelines and highlighted as ‘everyone’s responsibility’. (The National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children, 2009 -2020).
Growing awareness has resulted in some improvements in the range of supports available for children and families where a parent has a mental illness. But there is still….
To help your organisation understand and work towards increasing the visibility and support available for children, parents and the parent-child relationship, a range of resources and supports are available.
