COPMI research symposium 2013

On July 12, 2013, NSW Health sponsored a one-day symposium, supported by the COPMI national initiative.

Building an evidence base on effective policy, practice and education is vital to addressing the needs and improving outcomes of children and families with parental mental illness.

This symposium aimed to showcase evaluation and research in the field, particularly in NSW, and to bring together clinicians, policy makers, and researchers to build collaborative networks.

The symposium included a range of presentations and keynote speakers included Associate Professor Darryl Maybery, Associate Professor Beth Kotze, Department of Rural and Indigenous Health Director, MH Kids Monash University NSW Ministry of Health.
